Technical Overview
PromoSense is a high performance and robust Web Application
that runs in our SurfAssist framework
and utilizes our Page Query Web Service
technology. PromoSense performs basic promotional advertisement
alerts (window pane, pop-up or Windows Taskbar notification)
over a range of different domains, consuming additional ASP.NET
Web Services and external data repositories to retrieve its
content. Pluggable business rules and application logic grant
flexibility for targeted content via the Page
Query Web Service.
High levels of performance are achieved with the help of extensive caching and fast XML / XSLT transformations for page rendering.
PromoSense is a Microsoft ASP.NET Web Application running on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 that uses a Microsoft SQL 2000 and external user defined/configurable data resources.
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP.
